Fluffernutter Coffee Recipe with Peanut Butter and Marshmallow Cold Foam
Share
Coffee Around the World takes us to the United States today.
If you grew up eating Fluffernutter sandwiches, this one is going to feel familiar. Creamy peanut butter, espresso, and marshmallow cold foam come together for a coffee that tastes like childhood with a caffeine upgrade.
And yes, before anyone points it out... I forgot to blend the peanut butter into the espresso before pouring. It happens. Learn from my mistake. It was still yummy though!
Fluffernutter Coffee Recipe
You'll Need:
- 2 shots espresso (or ½ cup strong coffee)
- 1 tablespoon creamy peanut butter
- Ice
- Milk of choice
- Marshmallow cold foam
For the Cold Foam:
- Heavy cream
- Marshmallow sauce (I used Skinny Mixes Marshmallow Syrup)
Directions:
- Brew the espresso directly over the peanut butter.
- Blend or froth until smooth.
- Fill a glass with ice.
- Add your milk of choice. I used a Nurri protein shake for extra protein.
- Pour in the peanut butter espresso mixture.
- Froth the heavy cream and marshmallow sauce until thick.
- Top your coffee with the cold foam and enjoy.
One sip and you'll understand why this might be the most nostalgic coffee I've made all year.
